Eligibility Criteria
As per the AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2024-25 to 2026-27, candidates must:
- Have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following subjects:
Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies. - Score at least 45% marks (or 40% for SC/ST candidates) in the above subjects combined.
- Be at least 17 years of age as of 1st July 2025.
- Possess good moral character and be physically and mentally fit.

How to Apply
- Apply online only via the ASTU Admission Portal at www.astu.ac.in.
- Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹1000/- after submitting the form
- Payment Instructions:
- Visit ASTU website → Click on “Online Payment” (top-right)
- Select: Student Categories → Application Fee/1000/B.Tech (In-Campus Program)/2025-26
- Make payment and upload receipt to complete your form.
Don’t forget to bring a hard copy of the application and supporting documents at the time of admission.
Selection Process
Admissions will be based on the following merit criteria:
- JEE Main 2024 Rank – First 10 seats per program.
- CEE 2024 Rank – Remaining seats after JEE seats.
- ASTU Written Test (if required) – For seats that remain vacant.
Reservation policy as per Govt. of Assam applies.
